![]() It sucks, but at least the system is rather stable. ![]() I can launch programs just fine from the Finder, however.Īs near as I can tell, programs get pissy when they attempt to use hardware acceleration and the driver doesn't support it. I can't test DVD player working as I don't have a DVD drive in the machine right now.Īlso, if I drag my Applications folder to the Dock and attempt to start a program through that, it instantly logs me out. However, anything Flash just shows up as a hole in my web browser to the desktop due to the lack of hardware acceleration. I have dual displays working, however, QE/CI is all wack. (vs with that kext in s/l/e it reports it as a Quadro FX 1500) I removed the GeForce7xxx.kext out of s/l/e GraphicsEnabler=yes, and PCIRootUID=0Īny suggestions to resolve it? I searched through the forum, but I must be overlooking anything that might help 2 x HP z400, 3.2 GHz, 12GB RAM, Nvidia Quadro 2000, MC 7.0.3, Matrox MXO2 MAX mini, LaCie RAID 2TB eSata, Win7 64 Bit SP1 HP xw8400, 2.66 GHz, 4GB RAM. I guess in a nutshell what I am asking is, what would my FX 1500 be equivalent to as far as a geForce series If it helps, I can run Frontlines: Fuel Of War without any problems. I have a ASUS P5QL/EPU board and no DSDT. But theyre both called nVidia Quadro FX 1500. I see a lot of specs for geForce or ATI but I have no idea where my card stacks up. Also, things like Flash just fail to work (black screen, but I can hear sound) After hacking at this for a while, I installed a NVEnabler.kext that I found which fixed all the crashing, but now it feels like QE/CI is not working (no transparent title bar, though screensaver and etc works, just really slow updates), and my card shows up as just a "Graphics by NVIDIA 256 MB". Upon doing this, I had full resolution and my card was recognized as a Quadro FX 1500, but anytime I started any app that used OpenGL the app would crash (finder, screensavers, chess, etc). I installed 10.7.2 Lion and have had all kinds of problems.įirst off, I had to remove /S/L/E/GeForce7xxx.kext so that the system would boot. I had Snow Leopard working like a champ on this card, QE/CI smooth and solid. I have a Nvidia Quadro FX 1500 (79xx core) in my system which I dual boot for CAD software under Windows.
